Hello Everybody, I need some quick help

Its been awhile since ive posted anything. Ive mostly just been reading cus there is alot to read. Anyways, I have been working on my Del Sol for three days.

Meaning my car has been fully disconnected from a battery for that many days. (fully dissconnected pos and neg with no battery)

-replacing SRS
-removing Blower assembly and heater core

thats all that I have done so far.

Now just abotu 10min ago I started the car after three days and well its idling up and down. It first started at 2k -1k then it sort of narrowed down from 1200k to 900k after warming up.

Im just wondering whats going on? is the Ecu recalibrating itself? Or is it soemthing else? Able to drive it?

Any help asap would be great, rep for the right answer, cus I got stuff I need to do tonight.

edit: d15b7 del sol with no mods

if its idle surging it could be a few things. iacv...idle may need to be adjusted.

Even if it was idling perfectly fine before I worked on the car?

After searching around a bit on the forum I saw that idle surge coudl be affected by low filling of coolant. After adding more into the resivor and alot of idle it doesnt surge anymore. Gor figure, anywho I foudn out what was wrong.

Can someone explain to me why low collant in the cooling system causes a funky idle?

the FITV and IAC read off your coolant. It open and closes at a point. since air cant hold "heat" as good as coolant, when the "air hole" pass thru the sensors. it get a false reading which throw off the air flow.
