New cat and exhaust...not hooking up.

I installed the Apexi WS2 exhaust on my 94 hatch. I also purchased a Magnaflow direct-fit cat converter but it seems kind of short and the inlet flange seems small. The exhauster bolts with the spring wouldn't even fit through the new cat's flange. I was wondering if anyone had this problem. I ordered the cat from summit racing. I went ahead installing the old cat.

Still wondering if anyone has used the magnaflow direct fit cat and had the same problem... I'm also running a Megan Racing header as well...

im running a megan racing header, but not a magnaflow cat, just some generic cat and aftermarket exhaust. mine was a little short too, i thought it might have been the cat i got since my o2 bung is in the wrong spot too. sounds like i am not the only one.
