hey guys my cousin just bought an 07 sicivic si and hes new to the tuner world and i really dont no much abotu that new of a car i no its got a k20 in it but what are some good mods to do to it, just the treditional i/h/e and also we were looking fro some parts and they dont make ne for the 07 so im assuming the 06 is the same but whats the lowest year that i coudl go to and the last thing is what are some good sites to buy from thanx

it looks as if 2006 is the lowest you can go,
but if I had it,,,
I would build a lil custom turbo setup

vtec.net has a 06 SI they got from Honda. They put cams, IHE, and Hondata and are making, last I checked, like 250 to the wheels. If you search vtec.net for Project SI, you'll find it.

06 and up civic coupe parts should work fine



i/h/e and hondata gaskets im cool with. the cams...i dunno. its very difficult to make power across the entire band. usually you gain power somewhere but lose it elsewhere...id save the money and keep them OEM

to get the best gains from that motor you need to source the right parts...fujita makes a great intake and if you want to make serious power you need a RACE header something like the toda which is a piece of art...k-pro is a must and a nice exhaust.

I remember reading in a mag that extending the ground wire on the injectors was good for a few hp.

i dont believe that the new civic si's are k series. im preety sure its something else. neither b or d or k but idk. so if i was him start out with some nice wheels and a nice drop. tinted windows and shit like that. no bodywork or cf hoods or any of that. and turbo idk maybe just i/e/h and and maybe cams

*edit* ahh you must be thinking of the base engines, not the si. i believe those are R series?
