so i have to push my distributer all the way to the firewall for it to hit stock timing on the crank pulley... whats up with that lol???

Sounds like you have the timing belt off a tooth maybe.

i had the motor apart and lined it up again, this was a problem before pulling the motor apart too

dam it its too hard to fix so ill leave it like it is haha... i cant loosen my tensioner so yeah...

y is that? youll have to in order to loosen the belt to turn it back a tooth.

First off what is your Ford Setup?
Secondly, I've NEVER had to loosen a tensioner to change a timimg belt or just to move it a tooth.

My timing is dead on and my distributor is dam near all the way to the firewall. so is a gsr I just worked on.

yeah same as guest above... and i dont like slipping the timing belt off the cam gear all the time.. too much work to put it back on

^ not if you loosen the tensioner and do the upper timing cover mod (cutting it so you dont have to take off the valve cover).

i cant loosen the tensioner, its on too tight... we tried a breaker bar on it too. i think the shop used an impact gun when the belt was done at 90k

Its not even possible to get a impact gun on the tensioner bolt.
how long was your breaker bar? put a long bar on the break bar and remove the mount.

dont use a deep dish socket.
