hey guys i have a b7 head just laying around not being used. i was wondering since the vavles on the z1 head are mad small along with the intake manifold if the b7 head would be better? with like a mild cam and vavle spring? i have a b7 intake manifold aswell...i would swap over the fuel rail injectors and w.e else i need from z1 to b7 minus egr and that bull....cna it be done and how would it work?? thanks alot anyhelp is greatly appriacted...i figured since its vtec-e and alot of people would go z6 head but i gotta use what i got ha thanks

Unless you swap the pistons/rods out of the Z1 for some B7 pistons/rods, your compression will be stupid low for NA.

Yes.
Going by this calculator http://www.zealautowerks.com/dseries.html, your compression would be about 7.4:1.

i give up...i cant even do the z6 intake manifold then i wud have to get it port matched

Z1 only good for one thing, It's rods :)
Now a Z1 with B7 head, Z6 intake and 15-20 psi........easy 13 second sleeper there........if you can tune.

now this is all stock 15psi? so pretty much all motor the z1 is crap ha

yea well i was thinking ab it but i wanted to do like the b7 head or z6 cuz my firend is gonna sell me a z6 head cheap...but i wanted to drive it around for time being until i build and piece a kit together

you have the option to boost with those rods that will support it unlike other d15 rods. low comprssn= good for boost/ homemadeturbo.com use your vx manifold with an adapter plate

omg im so studid i can use the vx manifold wow thank u soo soo much i cant believe that slipped my mind...i thought u cud only HX tho?
