I bought an Air/fuel gauge and was going to install, but the wiring diagram that came with the gauge sucks. I haven't ever installed one before and I need help. Heres what I got. Two black wires, one green and one white. The motor is a d16z6. The instructions really suck. All it says is to not "connect ohm meter to O2 sensor" I don't want to just guess and cut the wrong one and I have tried to research, but couldn't find nothing. Plus, its getting dark. Please help. thanks for taking the time to help.....:bravo:

I saw that about 5 minutes after I posted. I read that not to splice into the wire, but to install it in d14 pinout. I am now looking for some info on that, cause I am not good at wiring and never messed with the ecu either. Thanks though

narrowband a/f gauge wont tell you anything just a lite show.

well hell. I was hoping to install it and kind of give me an idea as to what I am at now. but, oh well. I can still install now, and when I get my engine completely down and tuned with crome, with the wideband, it will already be hooked up and working. But, if its hooked up now, it wont be remotely close?

it will only give you a vague idea at WOT.
its much better to invest in a wideband system.

I have been looking at the wideband setups. i can get anyone of them and it will work with crome right. Cause all im doing is "tapping" into the sensor? Sorry for the retarded ?'s. I haven't got that far into the build. I've been reading up, but just want to make sure I got it understood. Though, I do kind of want to stay uniform with the gauges. That wont allow me? Does the gauge have to wideband in order to work with the wideband system, or would any gauge hook up to the wideband system?
