My wife and daughter left this morning for a little weekend trip, leaving me, the dog, my car and my computer alone for three days. So after looking at 15 hours worth of porn in about an hour (thanks Hatchnthoughts and your NWS link). I got bored. Mowed the lawn, that took three hours, done. Still bored.

All of my turbo stuff still isn't here and I'm itching to turn wrenches or do something. Ahah!! I spy my spare oil pan! Its a little cruddy looking, and I've been thinking about getting after it before my oil return line stuff gets here.

Anyway, I whipped out the old trusty wire cup brush, steel wool and Blitz metal polish! Bling bling ya'll! Keepin' mah pimp hand strong!!

I like my driveway. Just this part takes 1 1/2 hours to mow. I have a push mower. My skirt kept getting blown up and I think I have some sand stuck somewhere...

There is none. I'm jonesing to install my turbo, but all the parts are still in the mail. So I occupy myself with pointless busy work. But its fun.

Ah. Pizno = porn in milospeak. Now I understand. I'm still learning. Pretty soon I'll be fluent in English, German AND milo. :)

I used 00 steel wool. Actual process was:

1. Wire cup brush attach to my drill on the whole thing.
2. 00 steel wool. - not good enough
3. 120 grit 3m sanding sponge
4. 00 steel wool
5. Blitz metal polish
6. 00 steel wool
7. Krylon clear acrylic

Took about an hour and half and I'm pretty happy with the results.

Pics of the property. Sure I love my house. I've got over 5 acres, 4 bdrm house, two garages, a pond, a fort, a zip line, 3 apple trees, a pear tree, and a cherry tree. And the Army pays for all of it - actually we got a great deal on the rent, and have put a lot of sweat equity into it.

Im jonesin for the turbo as well. I have about 9mos before I can begin waiting for stuff to come in the mail. I have to pay off the Titan first, hopefully I can squirrel away 3 payments before the wifey catches on. Then its boostamonte.
