i was wondering what tranny wood be best for a turbo d16z6 engine. i heard one of the best is the si trannys and i can get a hold of a 94 civic si tranny for 150 do you guys think thats a good buy or shood i go with a diffrent model tranny?? i need sumthing cheap but can withstand about 150-200 hp with only few modifications.

well if it isnt grinding and the bearings are good... yeah its a good buy. toss in an lsd and maybe replace the input shaft bearing.

CHECK YOUR LOCAL JUNKYARD FIRST, they dont care if its an si tranny , all trannys are the same price, $75 bucks in my area

si tranny is best hands down unless you go custom. i cant wait to get rid of this fucking dx tranny for my si whenever i rebuild it
shifting into 2nd at 70 mph.. wtf.. i just now got the balls to top out 4th the other night.. it was above 130
