Ok i have searched and all I find is info on what to do if you have to convert/cut wires on your harness.
I have the whoole harness form an SI, and the P06 Ecu if I rember right.
All I need is the dizzy for the SI and the swap the harness and ecu right. this may sound stupid but i havent read of people doing it this way.
PLEASE let me know if you guys have any knowledge in this area

you cant just swap the si engine harness into a dx car.
you have to have intake manifold with everything on it (injectors, rail, TB, ect...), dizzy, plugs, ecu, injector resistor box, and intake manifold gasket.
you have to splice some of the SI wires into the DX harness or you can order a premade harness.
just do more research on the dpfi to mpfi swap. mainly the wiring.

our DX's came dpi (2 injectors) if you switch to the Si harness without changing at least the above mentioned it will be pointless. you do have to fabricate parts of the Si harness. there are places that can do it for you.
www.rywire.com for example. $160 + shipping. Have bought a few from them and it always look stock. somewhere on the page they have a write up if you want to do it yourself.

Ok, I have all the injectors and such, the only thing I dont have yet Is the DIzzy, waiting on that one. I also have the Whole Intake manifold set up. I should have given you some more info to start. all that you listed up there is what i have.
My main question is if i have all the things mentioned above ((injectors, rail, TB, ect...), dizzy, plugs, ecu, injector resistor box, and intake manifold gasket) and the car it came off of was MPFI what will I have to do to make it work.
will it be plug and play.

PLUG AND PLAY, other than extending wires! AND A MPFI ECU!!!!!

everything will be plug and play EXCEPT the wire harness. all EF's models uses a different wire harness. you can't use a Si harness in a DX/HF. 88 is an oddball year. 88 must be from an 88 of the same model. 89-91 can use the 89-91 of the same model. Si to Si, DX to DX, HF to HF. Si/HF to DX, DX to Si/HF won't plug in. it's not the same like integras 90+ or civics 92+.to make it plug and play you can remove ALL the harness(indash/lighting/engine harness) and replace it with one that came with the motor. it's easier just modifying your DX harness.
make sense? don't ask me why honda made it that way, and not like the 92+ civics. would have made us EF guys life easier.

Nice link, I think i came across that one before. It is starting to make more sence now. I will need the harness from the SI just to get the connections and simplify the wiring. NOT to swap the harness with mine. THANKS FOR the info guys this clears up my question.
Please correct me if i am still looking at this wrong. if I am i must be more retarded than my Ignition....
