I picked up a 1997 Honda Del Sol S, I picked it up just because it's getting hard to find them. The car is all stock except for a radio. Drives freaking awesome. It's the most comfortable del sol I have ever had. Anyways what should I do with it ? I was thinking of doing: Rims, suspension, tint, JL audio stealth box, Civic front lip and driving the sucker all summer. I get 40+ mpg.

I could seriously use one of those for a commuter car. 40+ mpg sounds awesome

You love boost too much to drive a stock car.

You love boost too much to drive a stock car.

that is true, that is why the integra and accord stay parked at home!

I did like driving my old del sol si though, that was a fun car.

I like it. If the wife would let me have another car, I'd think about picking up a Sol.

Looks like mine was when it was stock. If you need any parts for the y7, i.e. y8 IM or EM or both, I can get you both of those cheap if wanting.

Car looks like a clean slate. Have fun.

My other 2 del sol have aux lights, and both have the EDM Glass ones so I wanted one without. Plus 96-97 front bumpers are starting to get hard to find.

Thanks for the compliments. As of now the car will remain stock. I love the mpg that the car gets so I don't want to mess that up. the only things that I been doing to the car is cleaning the paint and probably take care of the rust sometime soon.

Advice. If You Buy Suspension Dont Buy The Tokico Kit For It, It Sucks!

eg2solsi500

thanks for the advice, I'll probably put my agx's and pro kit from my other del sol. I really want to get some white/or bronze wheel for it but I'm not sure on the size and style or rims I want. I love the c8's, grids, slips or flight models but I can't decide on color and size.
What do you guys think ? Oh i'm not paying $350+ for a set of blades. I rather buy something new. But I do love the blades.

I'd leave the motor alone. Suspension like crazy though!

Thats running pretty good. When I converted my car to obd1 from obd2, it ran alright, but not as hard as in obd2... I ran a 17.5 with a 2.4 60', this was in obd1. Never ran the car with EX IM and EM with intake and exhaust in obd2 though.

I think I would of had a better pass but for the second run I picked up all the shit in my friends hatch because he ran first and we though we would have enough time to put everything back in his. Second run I added 2 rotas c8's with drag radials, jack, jack stands, floor mats, clothes, a spare tire so the second time the car was heavier and they had just spayed the track with something that to me made more slippery.
