I don't know what is it, but low beam doesn't work (no f*/$%$@ lights) and hi beam work properly. What relay or something else should I have to check ?

thank you

you check your fuses under the driver side dash?

check the fuses..its not likely BUT the low beams could be burnt out.. or the wires could be messed up! check the fuses. then the wires. and if u have spare bulb around throw it in!

If it is both light that are affected, I agree with K20Civic, it is probibly electrical, but if it were me for the sake of time, I would check the bulb first just incase.

fuse would be first choice because theres a fuse for low beam and high beam. but if its throwing a fuse its shorting out somewhere

aight for sure. if its not a fuse check the wires/plug. if its not the wires/plug/ fuse then check the bulb!

same thing happend to me and i did all this trying to find out what it was and then i changed the light bulbs and high and low beams worked again so change the bulbs first

its just easier to check the fuse before he goes and buys bulbs

Same thing just happened to my sisters eclipse. The low beams burned out of the bulbs. Thats probably what it is. Change them and i bet everything works. You should be able to just look at the bulbs and see if they are good.

im 95% this is what happened BUT its just easier to check a fuse which takes 2 seconds before u go buy a bulb that u might not need!

The thing is I dont know how likely it is for both low beam bulbs to go at the same time, unless there is an electrical issue. I guess it could be in the switch as well, just get some fuses, bulbs and a meter and / or a test light and a few beers and track the problem down. There is enough info in these post to point you in the right direction. Just check everything.

Just get a JDM front clip with a right hand drive and a B16 in it an that will fix your problem.............Swap the front end.

on more then a few times both my low beams went out...but smartest thing to do is what ive been posting.

1. check fuse takes 2 seconds
2. check plugs and wires takes 5 seconds
3. check bulbs and replace them. takes couple minutes to run to the store

i would rather try not to spend the money if its not needed

Do you turn your lights on all the time? My sister always left her lights on.....

"because they turn off when i turn my car off"

She didn't have daytime RL and didn't understand the concept of them and how they run at a lower voltage and eventually burned the low beam out.

Good point.

I still like the dront end swap to fix the problem, or maybe I just think weird. It may not be the most cost effective, but it would be cool.

More than likely it's your low beam fuse in your underdash fuse box. If not, could be a burnt low beam filament (not likely but it happens. It's happened to me).

If not those 2, check grounds and your wires that plug into the prongs of the bulb.

why would u pay like a couple grand for afront end conversion and a motor swap to fix a headlight problem? could be a fuse and cost 0 dollers or spend a couple grand to get all new shit thats not needed lol...common sence! haha

Cause you would get the right hand drive and B16 with the new healdight or fuse. At least that is how I would have to explaine it to my wife.

Plus I am screwing around, it is the most obscure solution to his dilema
