crx syncros?

when i shift hard into 3rd the gear grinds a little bit sometime. the clutch is in the whole way. also downshidting into second hard it does it too. is that the syncros or w/e?

Could be the synchros or other items.
If all else checks out, try GM Synchro-mesh transmission fluid.
I know of three people that this worked for...same problem.
It's like $15 a bottle though.

i was bout to say the same thing. but yea, trust Bone, he knows what hes talkin bout... well trannys at least. :D

well im not trying to sell it.. im trying to decide keep d16 or get b16.....i got a guy that can hook me up with a b16 but if i stuck with the d16 i would get new clutch/flywheels/bearings. and i didnt want t osound like an idoit when i take it to a dealership asking the to fix why the trans grinds....but i think im gonna go b16....

stay with the d and get the tranny built with the money you were gonna spend on the b. get a lsd, lighter weight flywheel and new clutch/pp

later tonight i plan on posting a lot of pics of the tranny i am currently rebuilding.
