need help

Hey guys, need your help. I have a d16y7 in my civic. It has a spark knock under load (accelerating, etc.) but not when just cruising. I changed the spark plugs, spark plug wires, and even ran 93 octane....still does it. Just not as bad. Any suggestions? Maybe using a substance to clean the engine...such as sea foam? Thanks in advance.

P.S. it has 232,000 miles on it....runs like new except for that lol.

Check the dizzy cap and rotor.

Check the dizzy cap and rotor.

Fuel pressure? dirty fuel filter?
Also check the timing, you may be advanced too much.
Also check the timing belt to see the the cam and crank are lined up correctly.

I forgot to tell you i checked timing too, thanks for the responses! looks like i'm gonna replace the fuel filter....how hard a job?
