I just pulled the tranny off of the z6 I bought and lookie what I found. I just took it to the machine shop like 20 minutes ago. I looked up the part # and it's the prolite 8.5lb flywheel. Yay for me

Hey guys i want to ask you if you have the same problem as i do.It's very very difficult to leave the clutch pedal without pressing any gas and make the car move. Can you do that without the car going dead?
I don't know if i have lightend flywheel in my car cause i imported it from Japan. How can i find out? With the other car i owned(toyota corolla) you could get going without pressing the gas pedal, with no problem at all, not even shaking!!

I think it depends on your clutch. after I changed my oem clutch, It has alot easier time getting going without pressing the gas than the oem one did.

what did you use?And i think that the reason that it won't go, must be because clutch and flywheel haven't got much of a rotational mass to keep them selfs from stoping when trying to move...
