I just got through watching 28 weeks later. I thought it was better than the first one. It was really jumpy and kinda like Resident Evil except more realistic. It's awesome!!!!! Go see it!

Wow, I went and saw it with 2 friends a week ago and to be honest, didn't care for it at all. It seemed like there were a ton of plot holes. It seemed like they played this one off as more of a zombie movie. I just don't see how this movie got the reviews that it got. I will admit that it did have some great jump scenes and amount of gore.

I guess I didn't notice the plot holes because I was jumping around in my seat the whole time. Plus (not trying to be an ass but) it was a horror movie most horror movies have plot holes and stuff because they focus on the amount of gore and suspense scenes in the movie so much. Besides I didn't notice any plot holes for real, I mean it was about....nah I can't give it away but it did keep with the story. It's cool that you didn't like it, I mean it not everybody is going to like it. But it was a good movie to me anyways.

I like how he killed his wife, that was savage as fuck. AWESOME Zombie kill. The director did an interview a while back and hinted at at least 2 more 28 movies.

Well the end kinda showed that. I really just believe that these are just more realistic Resident Evil movies. It kinda makes you think afterwards about consipricy theories and stuff. Like when I walked out of the theater I was looking at the surounding areas thinking like "damn if that shit broke out for real "where would or should I take my family and hide out?" Also it made me think, "Damn, I bet a full body suit of kevlar would be badass! Hell even a full body suit of chain mail would be nice too!"

of all the new zombie movies that have been made recently this one has been the best one, or actually since they didnt really label those infected as zombies....that would make this the best non-zombie zombie movie!
plot holes? sure there were some, but I didnt care enough to make a fuss about it, not like this is gonna win an oscar for best pic. take it for what its worth.

i just purchased 28 days later one day and i was HIGHLY disappointed in the quality of the movie. i thought it was straight garbage, but if you guys say that the new one is better, i might go spend the money to go see it.
...but how many sequels are superior to their original?

i'm a fan of the first movie (i own it as well as the soundtrack). i love it because its based on the possibility of a pandemic (think mad cow disease). so i'm gonna watch this one somewhere on the week.

I just felt like there could have been more to the movie. I dunno, I guess I was expecting too much. That was probably my problem lol. You're right about being plot holes in a horror movie. I'm a huge fan of the zombie movie genre, so that could have been another reason why I wasn't overly impressed.

Oh yeah, I am awaiting the day that something like this really happens. The movie did have a good amount of gore though, it wasn't over done.

I agree. I thought they did a good job with it.
I haven't seen the new one - for those of you who have seen both, how do the two compare?

the 2nd seems like just a natural extension of the first. I would say the 2nd one is better just because it looks at the aftermath of the virus and how man would try and fight it.
I also LOVE the music in both i need to get the soundtrack!

Yeah I have to say the 2nd is actually better than the 1st for sure. Honestly probably for the same reasons too.

I just saw the movie and thought it was pretty awesome.
moral of the story is don't be a nice guy. If the sniper soldier did his job the infection wouldn't of spread (would of killed the carrier kid and the miliatary would of contained the area). Kind of easier said then done, I couldn't of opened fire into a crowd mostly innocent people.

true BUT that kid has the potential to cure everyone that has been infected so while you may be doing away the evil you will be doing away the cure.
lol w/e its a movie hahahah
