well i've heard many horror stories about throw bearing so i'm going to keep it simple which one do i need? here are the two pics.
#1?

on another question how many flexplate bolts do i need?

i beleive number 12 is a pilot bearing while number 1 is the throw out bearing.Where did you get this diagram?

majestic honda, i knew that one was the throw bearing but as in was checking at anther section i saw the second pic and i had to ask cause all it said was clutch pilot bearing.

I'm not sure what you are doing, but you should replace both bearings when you do your clutch. you do not want flex plate bolts (for auto), you want number 8 flywheel bolts and there are six of them

why do i remember lines from movies. lol. i've never said it was for an auto. maybe i should point out the i need #10 of the second pic and how many of them.

flexplate is auto, pressure plate is manual, yes you need 6 of them and they are torqued to 19 ftlbs

if your changing your clutch you should change both of those bearings

Shouldn't NEED to change the pilot bearing unless it's acting up. It doesn't hurt to change it if you're changing flywheels.
