ok i have a action stage 4 clutch.. 2300 pounds pressure plate with a spung 6 puck disk. when i first installed the clutch i used my brothers old pilot bearing from his integera(a B serious one). which worked great..when held down smothly grabs nicely little by little easier for me to feather the clutch.

then when my tranny case broke. i chaged it out with a honda Pilot bearing (D serious).. now i dont have that smooth grab i used to i have a gap which i dont feal the clutch grabbing.. about 40% release of the clutch it starts to grab(like a stock clutch).

i already bleeded the clutch couple times. and since the pilot bearing is the only thing i change i thinking it is that..

so anyone else done this? or reasons why that happend? which should i use?

i am currently going to buy another integra one since it grabbed better. they both are the same but when looked at they have differences and one has something the other dont..

Some cars don't even have pilot bearings.

Check the clutch disc, flywheel surface, and clutch pressure plate.
