I know, i wanted to have it clean and simpel and just a little CF parts. But i had the chance to buy these Seibon door panels For a cheap price .And seibon doesn't make these anymore so i just gotta have them. And i'm just in love with the CF now .It looks so gooodd with the silver chassis color. But hey i can understand that some people find it To much.;)

Thx for the good reactions dudes! The CF door panels aren't for the weight reduction because CF can't beat from Plastic door panels .It's just for the looks. One thing that i will do shortly is putting in CF Bucket seats Weight = 5kilo each .OEM seats are like 25kilo each so that will be a good weight reduction .I did some runs on a 200m( 1/8mile) track just for fun to see what time my slowass D14 could do .Best time was 12.95sec.lol :D

i personally like the panels, its not rice if its a real performance upgrade...
mixed with a cf hood, hatch doors (maybe) it would be an advantage, untill someone hits you in the door, then your f-ed...lol

I call it jdm style cause a true jdm civic is ALL JDM parts .I've got some JDM parts like the vision cf lip ,but the seibon cf door panels is USDM .BTW i'm going to swap a D16 in it ;-)

Other Cf parts that i would like to have is CF rear lip ,And CF side skirts that i'll be making myself. Also CF spoon style rear wing and that's about it maybeeeee a CF hood don't know yet.
Owyeah and interior console is going to be CF to .These are some pics of preparation to the console ready to get a CF coat on it.

What kind of fuel economy does that thing get?

Fuel economy is normally around 7-8L/100km But i'm close to aorund 9-10L/100KM lol :-d .Don't really know the Gallons/Mile ratio...You can compare it to a Stock D15 with i vtec .Same fuel economy ;)

Thx all for the positive reactions ;).E-bay pics don't got any cause engine is still stock haha :-d.But today i got my new header from hedman chikara 4-2-1.This is a header for the D16 but the primaries are so small in diameter that this header actually works great on my D14 engine.I don't even know why they sell it as a D16 header  .The Design is oke ,stepped primaries and equalizer tube.Negative points are the merges ,they come togheter to quick, and the header isn't finished properly.Welds hang inside the tube and tubes aren't grind inside.I did the grinding myself so it would flow the gasses a little better. The Engine Revs better now from 3500 to 6500 rpm .With the stock header it revs good from 4000 to 5500.I would recommend it to anyone with a small displacement D-engine .(D13-D14)Soon i will go back to the dyno and see what the gains are.

It's been a long time since i updated in here so i'm just gonna show my latest update.I bought the Header from 'SLO SOHC' i think it's a 4-1 An-r header with a street collector ,that's what it looks like the most to me.
I tested it over the weekend ,just a quick test still have to remove the PS pump and it sounds great.Where the stock 4-1 Header pulls great between 3000-5000~6000rpm ,the an-r header pulls great from 4000 -7000rpm.
I need to do a lot of work ,i'm also going to swap on a Z6 intake manifold just to try some things. In the meanwhile i'm building a Z6 N/A engine Maybe it will be finished late 2008...

Here's the sound on my 1.4 with my custom exhaust system.
- 58mm exhaust with a custom Magnaflow mid silencer
- Jic Magic (Bullit) Real Titanium rear muffler (Weighs almost nothing )
- An-r 4-1 header with street collector
- No Cat just a straight true pipe.

Actually the door panels where sold today .I hardly even used them in my civic .I just want something more simple ,just a few Cf pieces here and there and that's it.The only Cf parts that are coming on is the front lip, mirrors and a Rear spoon style spoiler. The interior is going to get a few touches of Carbon/kevlar along with Red seats.

great header! I would love to see it working with an edelbrock intake manifold and rev it up to 8000 with the right head work, or with a mini- me! Your exhaust tube is also promising but i am not quite sure if your current set up works fine.
When i installed my DC sports 4-1 with the 50mm cat back and the stock intake manifold the engine was dead below 3500rpms. After i swapped the edelbrock manif. and a 55exhaust tube, i noticed great difference from 1500rpms up to the rev limiter! You will definitely need an ecu work as well!

How much for the header?

Lil Update :

- Installed a z6 intake manifold, ported and welded it myself.
- Installed ESP 3 point strutbar
- Homemade aluminium airbox
At the moment i'm converting the engine harness to obd1
with a p06 ecu so i can get this thing tuned finally.

some idle problems you had are fixed finally? Could you tell us your impressions on your suspension set up and especially on the sway bars issue?
