So I hammer on the throttle, and hear a knocking noise when I let off..

I can sometimes hear it when I step on the gas as well. It sounds like it is comming from the passanger side.

Maybe an axel? intermediat shaft?

You know when you romp on the gas pedal, and get high up in rpm's, and stay in the same gear? thats what I do and it makes a clacking noise when I let off the gas pedal..

Any idea's?

I thought about that. I was under the car, and took the Cat off, and my friends welded up a test pipe. I didnt see anything loose. Ill jack the car up and check it out closer.

motor mounts? I have a prothane upper driver side mount insert in, and it squeaks every time I do that. That reminds me, I need to grease it again...

That may be it.. Their is a bolt that holds it down on the front. The motor mount ripped out before. Ill be sure to check that too.

Check your mounts I would say. Think of it like this, it makes the noise when you engine kicks forward from you letting off the gas. Now just look for anything that could cause that noise when the engine kicks forawrd...

alright..

When you let off the gas in high rpm's. It doesnt bog down steedly, it kinda bounces till it gets pretty low in rpm's. when it bounces while deaccelerating..it makes the noise each time it bounces.

Check your radius arm bushing make sure it's tight.
