ep3 civic si w/ rev hard turbo kit

so my buddy drove a nice 300 miles from here, to waco,tx to pick up a nice 2002 honda civic si complete with stage 3 rev hard turbo kit, carbon fiber lip, greddy turbo exhaust with custom test pipe. along with a very nice 17" falkin rim and tire set up dropped on some blue springs? i couldnt figure which ones they were at my first litte glance. i also think it has a jdm wing on it, but im not sure (k FTL:bubbrubb:) ive never been a big fan of these hatches to be honest. these are the only pics that i took, but we were rushed because he had leave real quick.

after riding in that civic im going to turbocharge my car no doubt. i want to buy either the edelbrock, or the greddy kit. i havent heard too much about the greddy kit(i like the edelbrock kit alot). anyone had any experiences? ive been thinking of either going boost, or putting that ls in my ek, and ive been all over forums trying to figure which one since i got the car durring a couple christmas' ago.

The K20A3 can take alot of boost. With that Revhard kit, low 300's with a stock block shouldn't be a problem.

As for not liking EP3's...it's an aquired taste.

its tuned on hondata at 15psi. its a really conservative tune, with the rev limit set at 5500 in 1st and 2nd which doesnt really matter, as the stage 3 clutch helps get some of the power to the ground, but traction really comes around 3rd. it spikes like a bitch, usually upwards of 20+. when he gets back from houston i believe he is going to find a good engine tuner around the dallas/fort worth area. im just excited to see what it puts down! i guess i have some work to do before i can keep up with him. and i'll agree it is an acquired taste.

Damn, 15 psi on a stock A3? I'd be sweating that. There's a good tuner in Houston...Autologic. They did my friend's K24A1 turbo tune. Made 310whp and 300 or so torque at 9psi.
