Hey guys, I need some suggestions. I was wondering if I can run the d16y8 intake manifold on my d16z6 motor in a 95 honda civic. Will are the sensors be the same and stuff like that. Will it give me more power than my old d16z6 manifold. If anyone has done this, please let me know. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys...

kommon_sense's sig talks's about the cylinder heads and not the intake manifolds.

just port and polish your z6 head, and trust me, you'll be more satisified.

barto,
"the y8 IM is the type r of d-series"
is something that people use to sell their y8 manifolds on ebay...

The Y8 manifold with it's longer runners will give you more midrange making your car nicer on the street, while the Z6 manifold is capable of a higher max hp.
Love the the sig. Would make a great bumber sticker for my hatch. 8)

dont waste you money on that it will work but it wont help anything get a skunk2 or jg manifold
Yeah that would be the way to go if you dont want to keep the z6 IM. z6 is the best oem-wise.
