Got some really bad news

A lot of you guys on here know that we were trying to adopt our nephew Chase that was in foster care because he was born with a heart condition due to his mom drinking and doing drugs when she was pregnant with him. We found out yest that he had gotten a stomach virus Thursday night, they couldn't get it under control and called 911 to have him rushed to the hospital. On the way his heart stopped and they couldn't get him revived. The little guy was only 9 months old. My wife and I are heart broken. You guys are family to me and I wanted you to know.

Damn dude. I'm so sorry to hear this. My sister went through something similar when they were adopting. The baby didn't die, but was taken by another family right in front of them. I was about this close to flying to missourri and kicking the shit out of the other parents. Never have I felt so violated...

We found out today that the funeral is going to be Wed at 1:30pm. The funeral home is donating the funeral services and a local cemetery is donating a plot and burial services. We are going to be setting up some memorials in Chase's name for people that want to donate. I know we are going to set one up with the American Heart Association and a few others. I will let everyone know the details once I know for sure what all we are setting up.
