Buying used ECU and harness.. what to look for?

local guy is selling a p06 ecu and OBD2->OBD1 jumper for $100. price is pretty good. its used. what should i look for before buying?

if any wires are missing.... impossible to tell if the ecu is good or not. try to test it first.

That's a sick deal. I just paid 225 for mine from J-K Tuning but it's socketed and chipped w/ a basemap for my build. Now I just have to go buy an osterich for it. :smile:

Hmmm, first I'd check for bullet holes, if the ECU is COMPLETELY FREE of bullet holes, then I would plug it into your car (or any civic) to see if it runs at all.
