Quick tire question

I just got some new 15x7's and was wondering what most people preffered. A 205/50 or a 195/50? Reasoning for your choice would also be helpful. Thanks!

I wanted 205's; my tire shop owner/friend said it may cause problems, that there's little difference than 195 ... 195 Fuzion has been my best value street choice so far.

I like the 195/50-15's lower aspect rating than stock for leverage ... still I'm now considering 16's & original/plus2 tire height.

205/50s get my vote. I have been running falken azenis of that size for a couple of years. the only issue that i had was they rubbed in a small area by the rear bumper which was easily trimmed off. no more issues.

Thanks guys for the quick responses. I'm going with the Hankook Ventus HR2's. This will be my third set of these that I have owned and I'm always satisfied.

IMO pros and cons

205- great grip, nice look. cons. tendence to hydroplane if not meant for all wather, hard to turn in corners

195- nice grip, normal look, faster cornering, faster acceleration. cons. they don't give you the stability comfort as 205 in high speeds.

I can say that 14s with 205s are awesome; plus, with a 2/2.5" drop is a plus!
