Well, looks like all you need to do is start. If you hit a snag, then ask questions.

What ecu you plannin on running??Do you got the whole wiring harnwess to go obd0 to obd1 if not you can stay obd0 just a few extra wires to do when you run vtec and swap dpfi to mpfi but thats about it.Im doing the same swap right now.Oh by the way swap your mounts off your old motor to your d16z6 ok any questions just ask man....

Just a suggestion, after you finish your mpfi swap, get a rywire(or equilivent) obd-0 > obd-1 conversion harness to run a p28

To save making another thread, and he might need to know this too, I'm running mpfi about to do the same z6 swap, with the RyWire obdo-obd1 kit, will I need to wire in anything else?

Not sure im doing the swap and just staying obd0.I wouldnt think so as long as al the wiring is there for all four injectors and for vtec and if you got the right ecu and what not man.Do you have the kit or are you going to buy it????let me know cause if you havent boughten it yet donkt you can do everything of your stock harness.
Got Vtec?

Definitely get a jumper harness. They are awesome.

you need a four wire o2 sensor, for a clean connect you have to go to a junkyard, and take the connector off of a delsol or something. since your down there swapping it would be good to replace the clutch if you have'nt done so in a while. do not stay obdo it's illegal plus obd1 has more tuning options. i reccommend a p28 ecu.

It's fine to stay 0bd0. I had my pm6 programed to the p28 specs and it works great. The MSD rpm activated switch works great for Vtec and the wiring is a breeze. You can use the single wire O2 sensor. The only thing that sucks is using 2 of the 3 brackets on your distributer and cutting them to fit the z6 head. If it's a y8 head you don't have to worry. Either way is fine. I'm eventually going to switch. At the time of my swap, I didn't have a lot of cash so I just stayed 0bd0.

For the distributor, just change the distributor side cap for the cam from your OBD0 power plant to the Z6. The top bolt will fit like a champ, without any modification to the distributor.

As far as I know o2 sensor wires (obd-1 uses 4-wire o2), the wires for vtec, and some injector wires(if you have a DX model).
Rywire has great tech support, and for $110 shipped with everything you need(minus an ecu) it's a hella sweet deal. Boomsling and a few others have harness's too but A. I haven't used them and B. Not much as been mentioned about their customer care

Im about to do the same swap into a 91 Crx SI.I have a whole donor d16z6 car for parts.I think im just gonna do the mini-me onto the d16a6 block.Ive been wondering if your gauge cluster will still work and if it throws an engine code will it light up the CRX engine light?I know the speedo should still work since its the same tranny. Also is it hard to adapt the obd0 wires to the D16z6 on the engine side?I heard you just add 2 more o2 sensor wires and a vtec wire. Then splice into the distributor, sensors and injectors. Also what do u guys think of those cheep harness conversion adapters on Ebay?

Check all of the wiring at your distributor.

I would check your wires down at the ecu, and then there are two white wires off of the distributor that look the same, make sure you didnt switch them around. it probably in your wiring though because thats all you have changed.
