I just want to clarify some things...

Bob (if you dont know who, you dont need to know) Has really gotten on my nerves latley. Not by "communication" but by Fantastic little "african american ingunity" modifications I come across.

As I took the Intake manifold off the car, I was shocked to notice a little simple route to a Very important unit of my engine. Im guessing bob cut the hose..and didnt think relize a different way to repair the Hose. So what does some High temp sylicone and a small piece of larger hose have to do with a cut hose?

To be honest, it wouldent seem to be a bad idea to do this If I were to arive in this situation. But the problem is when I put my mouth to the smaller piece of the hose and blew. I kicked it to the other end of my garage. I could barely blow through both ends.

Next. After I dropped the motor. I start taking the Transmission apart. I removed bolts that I can plainly see. I dont see anymore. So I got curious and my tranny pulled away from the block. Guess how many bolts their were?

Nothing to really get a person Pissed and ask queastions. Oh and no tranny fluid. Looks like its been starved for awhile. Im going to replace all the syncros and Run some Syncromesh and hope for the best.

Just wished I would have been told what to look for insted of finding this out for myself.

I put over $2000 in the crx I traded him. But I didnt know that the frame was all shitty. I told him everything that was bad.


Plus to add to the list of bad things on the car. Bob's soddering job cost me $20 and 13 hours of going threw the wiring. a wire in the dizzy was grounding out on the intake manifold.

Plus to turn the lights on, He gave me a little piece of metal to wedge in the hole where the Light, and blinker switch use to me. I had to jam the rod in the hole and turn it to turn the lights on and off.

I have the entire front suspension taken off the car. Replacing everything. Tie rods, ball joints, what ever bushing I find that I can replace with the ones in my kit. Im also going to get drilled and slotted brakes.

I contacted tokico and Eibach if They are interested in marketing for eastern, iowa and Western, Ill of the US. ='s sponsorship... The struts I have are shit.. honestly.

Did you even drive the car before you traded? Did you even look over it or did you just hand over your keys and say "thanks"?

if im going to buy a car or trade mine for something and they tell me I have to "jam" something to make the lights work, that's a huge fucking sign that there are other problems. I've fixed the entire suspension but just left the rear on so I could mess with the front end. Got the Light's to work.

Dude, you waited 6 months, almost 7 on this deal to come out with this? Do you not remember how quickly the deal went down? It took about 2-3 days from the first convo in D-chat (yeah thats how long ago it was) before we traded.

My car wasnt even running yet. I still had to finish up the wire tuck, install the engine, the whole interior, mount the seats, harness, dash, etc in 24 hours. I didnt have any time to run it after the wire tuck to see any problems that may come up. When I drove it to you from cleveland, It ran great. If it didnt, I would have told you, or turned around and called it off. Im not out to screw anyone over. Hell, i didnt even have a license or real plates on it at the time.

Dustin was very persistant to get this deal done asap, and it wasnt gona happen if it wasnt then.

Look, there is nothing wrong with a little JB weld. haha.

Seriously tho, If you know how to use it, it works great. The head did have a gouge in it, dont know how it got there, but it was there when i got it. So the only thing i could think of plugging the little hole up was to put a Jb weld patch on it. Where the Jb weld is, There is no leak.

As for the transmission, One of my clutch bolts came out, slung around the trans, and put a little hole in the bellhousing... where the Jbweld is. That was there just as a plug. It worked fine. Again, Where the Jb weld is, There is no leak.

As for that tube, It was for your PCV. I dont know if you have ever tried to remove one from an intake manifold, but its not happening without breaking it. Mine was broken when i got it, so i had no choice but to do what i did... And it worked.

I told him all i knew what was wrong with the suspension. It was fine for me, I trusted it. I could take this one turn at 100 in my crx and be completley confident. I tried to take the same turn with dustins car, and i spun out at 65.

I bet the car still handles great with the suspension thats on it, its just a little bumpy bc the shocks are realy stiff... or you could have blown them since i gave em to you 6 months ago. I dont know.

As for the headlights, I broke the switch off the day i gave him the car. I tripped and started to fall, and the ony thing i could grab on my way down was the turn signal lever, lol. I hit my floorboard with the lever in my hand.

And Yes we just met somewhere and traded keys. It was like russian rulette, we both were taking a chance. Ive had my fair share of problems with the cars, but you dont hear me complaining. Its all a part of doing deals, and getting used cars.

Look, Ive spent soo many hours getting 2 cars in shape. Thats twice the amount of cars, and more hours than you can think of. There are only soo many bolts on one car, and ive turned em all... Multiple times.

Again with the struts, I liked them, i didnt have a problem with em on my car, other than they were stiff.

Plus the Tie rods, inner, and outter, and upper ball joints were replaced within 2 months of you getting the car... If you know what the hell your doing when working on a car, you wouldnt replace shit just for the fuck of it. you inspect whats wrong, and replace accordingly. Thats just like buying a new car and taking it back or selling it b/c your turnsignal bulb went out. :fag:

I put over 6,000 of my cash into the crx i gave you... On top of the cost of the car, and countless hours of labor. So how is that even relivent? I told you exactly what i knew was bad.

Vtec worked just fine. The camshaft snapping was the most random thing that could have happend. I still chalk that up as a freak accident.

I told you about the cage, that was not my handywork at all. Talk to the previous owner. The lsvtec was semi built, I had alot more plans. You just caught me off gaurd and i sold the car as it was. Again, I had no time to go through the car. I was finishing it up as you were already half way here. All those problems you had, wouldnt have happend if i had a few days to work on and just drive the car.

I traded a solid Lsvtec crx with over 10,000 into it for a rotted and hit crx in flat black, and a salvage title, hit 93 si with a bad engine. He has broke a camshaft (random) a little jb weld here and there, a transmission that ran dry b/c he didnt check it, and has blown out shocks. Seriously... who should be complaining?

To top it all off, Whenever im online, do i not awnser every single question you ask me? I help you out all the time, non stop.

And i will finish this off with this... A 12.6:1 compression all motor lsvtec is not what you call a stock car. With a modified car such as this, shit will break... And that comes with the territory of a modified car.

Basicly, everything he said is true, but i dont think he understands how and why i did some of the things i did. Even tho it may be unconventional, doesnt mean it wont work... Look at the guys who do homeade turbo setups and make great power....
