can you put a d16a6 head onto d16y7 block

I was jsut thinking about it; I assume one can but is it easy?

also what would that put the CR at?

Not worth. A6 head has 1mm smaller valves, combustion chamber are huge because A6 run almost flat top piston, and y7 run dishes. It will lower you CR and flow less. What a deal :)

Keep the y7 and mod it or find y8 one and mod it ;)

and I forgot to tell about valve location isn't the same, valve notches on y7 pistons aren't built for A6 head.

put a z6 or y8 head on it.

I just got a z6 head on mine, every thing clears fine + I can run veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetaaaaaaaak once I get the funds for my rywire harness

and the d15b2/z6 mini-me runs around 10.5:1 compression ratio with a z6/y8 head gasket :TU::skull:
