So the time has come to put a little money in the hatch and since I wont be buying my motor any time soon and I have a little for some suspension. I've had KYB-GR2's on my DA before with cheap-azz ebay coil-overs. More bouncy than a lowrider competition. I'm guessing it was the cheap coil-overs. Well I found on ebay a guy selling the Skunk2 Sport Shock set for 265 shipped

Just for right now I'm doing shocks. Later on I'm going to do springs or coil-overs. Thinking that if I buy these I'll combine them with either the Skunk2 springs or the Skunk2 coil-overs b/c supposedly according to Skunk2, the set-up should be the shiz-nit. Wondering if anybody has rode on any combination of the above set-up. Any ideas/pics on the Skunk2 Spring drop as well.

im thinking of getting these for my H&R race springs on my dx

since these are the shortest shocks on the market and would not bottom/blow the shock with h&r race springs

was thinking of getting some used koni yellows but they might bottom out

I was thinking about doing these with the Skunk2 Coil-overs. Mostly becuase I can adjust the height. Like here with my cheap ebay coil-overs and kyb-gr2's i adjusted for my 17's when I had them then when I put my 14's back on I adjusted them down. I'm real particular about my wheel gap and I don't want to chance not being happy with the Skunk2 Springs. I like this much gap:

(I miss my DA sometimes...)

I'm hoping to find somebody who has the Skunk2 Sports to see if they ride decent and handle well under hard driving. :TU:

I just installed skunk 2 pro-series coilovers, they were wicked easy to put on, the whole setup made the stock stuff look like a joke. but anyways, the adjustability is great, i havent had them on long enough to tweak them to the perfect wheel gap, but driving around is great, they ride awesome and just pushing it as hard as i can "legally" on the street theyve responded very well, and i don't have any aftermarket strut/swaybars or anything yet. The only thing i think i'll regret is buying the 18 inch wheels, there's really nothing gained over a good set of 17's with sticky tires. but goodluck, i'd like to hear how the shocks work out for you
