View Full Version : Got my exhaust on today!

Hey guys, I know it's nothing spectacular, but I went to the shop today and got rid of my cam-strangler-stock-exhaust. I replaced it with some 2.5" piping(crush bent, mind you, thats why I went with 2.5 not 2.25) with a straight through style 18" resonator(made a HUGE difference. see below), and a Turbo III muffler.

Notes- it sounds near-stock!

They installed just the piping/muffler first... we started it up and I sounded like Cpt. Ricer, so we lifted the car back up and installed the resonator. I was super-suprised how much of a difference it made.... completely ELIMINATED the rasp/ricey sound... awsome!

And I just think it's cool to get a picture of your motor from underneath, cause you never really get to see your car like this. PLUS you can see oil leaks VERY well(thankfully I'm clean!! woot)
(I snapped prolly 30 pics at the exhaust shop! lol every step of the way.)

No way... Is that what a Honda is supposed to look like underneath???? I thought pitted rust orange was normal!

I've never seen one clean enough to know the color it's supposed to be.

Lol, well, I took enough pictures of every step I dang sure could make one if I wanted to! Hehe the guys were looking at me like I was crazy, asking me why I was taking pictures...(it was at a shop in the ghetto) it was funny.
