The BEST?

$150 each, or more, but they come with NEW outer joints........

I think I paid $330-ish shipped for my EG axels. They are too nice to be on this rustbucket, but it pays to never have to replace them. Marty is the ONLY source for axels I use. The quality is phenominal. I believe it to be better than new stock axels.

He still honored it about 1 1/2 years ago when I ordered my last set.

Axels that fail are a pain in the butt. Most people here drive hard enough to kill the poor rebuilds from Autostoned. Heck, my parents' hatch doesn't get driven hard but the roads kill those craptastic pieces of poo in less than a year. Raxles hold up to just about anyhing that can be thrown at them, short of LOTS of HP and traction.

Preloaded launching solves those high HP problems. I think it was bizzar that was snapping axles all the time until he started preloading his launches, now it's not an issue.
Really, how often do people snap axles? Not trying to talk anyone out of buying the higher quality stuff, but not everyone needs top quality axles.

I am going with Drive Shaft Shop. For drag racing they rock. They make stock replacements also.

When your lifetime warranty axles have to be replaced once a year under normal driving, you'll buy decently after about the 2nd time of replacing a bad axle with a "free" replacement....

when i had to replace the axles in my accord i got them from a local place called robbins auto, nothing high dollar, i beat the piss outta that car and never had a problem. Id say unless this is a real high HP car dont go too crazy with the high dollar stuff

PRELOAD PRELOAD PRELOAD
I want my axles to be the weak link, its a quicker fix than trans diffs and or trans swap. Sometimes its smart to have a cheap weak link....

We're not talking about drag racing. Just normal axles for normal cars.

Same here, you shouldn't be snapping axles unless you have crazy HP. If you are stock and breaking AXLES, you are doing something wrong.

Nobody said anything about snapping axles either...
