I recently swapped in a built N/A D16Z6 and have only a few hundred miles on the new motor. I went and changed my intake mani gasket to a thermal one and noticed that my manifold is already gooey with oily residue. So I was thinking of using an oil catch can routed with the pcv kept in the line, but as I'm trying to research it I only seem to find people doing this when running boost. Is it a good idea to do this on an N/A motor?

yup keeps stuff out of the intake and manifold, doesnt add hp just keeps it clean. I have one on my new NA setup.

Yeah I realize its only to keep things clean, just wanted to make sure there wasn't a reason why it seemed like this was only done on FI motors. I'll definitely be doing this in the near future.
