View Full Version : 0bd0 eh hatch w/ d15z1 what dizzy?

the car came with a 0bd0 dizzy w/ one bolt in it. the d15z1 is 0bd1 the car is wired for 0bd0 from what I know. does any body have any help? do we need to wire the car for the d15z1 and put a obd1 ecu in or is there a way to make it work the way it is?

its a 91 hatch with a d15z1 vtec(E)

your stuck with the one bolt setup.
You'll have to "HACK" the leg to get the second bolt in and be able to adjust the timing.

will cutting and drilling that leg work??? i have the same car as him with the same motor, and the same dizzy problem

we ended up putting a d15b7 head on the z1 block so we could go buy a stock 0bd0 91 dx dizzy and it bolted up perfect harness plugs right in . no oil leaks , many o' late nights experimenting with diff. setups and this one worked great.
-92 z1 block
-93 b7 head
-91 b8 dizzy
-95ex timing belt
-b8 intake, exaust
-96 y8 head gasket
-had to trim up the timing belt cover a little on the front so the belt would clear!!!
