I have a Escort Passport that I can't use in my DX. High rpm's and fluctuations in revs seem to be setting it off (so it basically goes off constantly). It tells me it's picking up laser and if you have one of these Escorts you know this thing goes nuts when it picks up laser (very annoying). I use it in my other two Honda's with no problems. I thought it might be my MSD wires so I took them out...not the problem.
Figuring the Escort was to sensitive, I bought a cheap ass $60 Radio Shack detector so that I could have some protection from the law until I work out the problem. It helped a lot but it's a sucky detector.
Anyway, anyone had this problem? Any suggestions as to what might be causing it.
