ok.......i kno spoon is great in all but why the hell is a intake gasket 329.00 jesus christ who would spend almost 350 bucks on a intake mani gasket??? this is just me and if any1 has spent that much i may need to slap you

That's Fucked up.I mean they are even using the term 'Venturi effect' like they do to sell the 'Tornado' :sadface:

It's really more of a plate than a gasket. It helps more midrange RPM power than anything. Most of spoon parts are geared towards road racing, not drag racing.

Venturi Effect, you notice the bar cutting through the intake port just below the injector notch? That is uses to create turbulence for better fuel atomization. Same thing as the divots on intake ports...

I'm sure that's the reason for port divots, but the idea behind the Spoon venturi plate is to increase the port velocity and increase mid range rpm VE... That's at least how it was explained to me by a Spoon rep.

Its made for classes with strict limitations, where if you can pull some HP out of it with a $350 part, you will cause it's legal, right? Like bunger said, their shit is geared towards road racing.
