I have a 89 Crx HF, will a 92 civic si motor swap in without a motor mount kit? Im aware of the fact i have to wire the Vtec but will it mount up np?

yeah it will im puttin in a d16z6 in my ef hatch... no problem.....

Yep what he said. everything will work. My advice is to by the cable to hydro adapter also. hydro trannys are so much better and don't go scratch like most honda cbl trannys

i didnt know they had a cable to hydro conversion with d series...thats news to me.


I changed the mount braket and mount from a d16a6 (drivers side) becaues i wasnt 100% sure it was going to work with the 92-95 mount and bracket. You might want to check that out.

Id suggest getting a 89-91 cable si tranny.

Basically just use all the mounts from your crx.

yeah i HAD a 92-95 vx motor in my 91 hatch.....didnt change nothinbut the wiring was a little screwy on the vtec
