Valve Cover Color?

Alright guys I plan on painting my valve cover very soon and I can't decide on some colors. My car is black and my intake is chrome. Please if you have any suggestions, shoot them this way.

Cal it rice, but I saw a nice orange/gold cover on here a while back that looked sweet....

Polish your valve cover and it will go well with the black. Otherwise just paint it black. Just my opinion. They also have some cool metallic looking paints that are out.

I personally am doing "ford red" *shudder*, yea yea, flame away, it looks nice on my block and head....so I'm going to just match the valve cover.

lol. good ol ford red. no flaming here. whatever floats your boat. I like just the bare metal when its polished on the valve cover. The head and block can clean up nicely too without paint.

I was thinking about the polished look. My friend has it in her SOHC and it looks hella clean. If I find a pic I will post it.

id polish your stock one cause paint ships and is a pain in the ass to clean if its not powdercoated

Well "compakt" and myself started sanding it down today. I wish I had my digi I would show the work in progress, it already looks a hundred times better. I will get pics of it when it is finished tomorrow.
