so heres the deal ive sold maybe 25 + items on ebay ...god only knows how many ive sold on here...h-t....turbo d16 ...clubcivic....so on so on ect
well the last week ive had to transactions go BAD!! and b/c im an honest person i want to get them out there just in case neg. feedback comes back everyone knows my side of the story!
first one was on here with slow98ex i sold him what was known to me a p28 ecu came out of a buddys 94 or 95 b16 swapped eg. im guessing after he got it installed it and vtec wasnt engaging and it was not reving past 5k or something? well he and I got it worked out and the situation is all good sending him money tonight!
second was with a bat i sold on ebay. i sold a crush mizuno slow pitch softball bat for 115 + shipping 2 weeks ago. STILL never got feedback on this item even though it was rec'd back on the 2nd from the buyer who send me a message on ebay saying thanks the bat looks good blah blah blah
the bat MAYBE had 100-200 hits on it NEVER hit with plastic cage balls hell the bat wasnt even broke in yet i just bought a new composit bat and didnt want it any more...so last night i get an email from the guy (i was hoping it was him leaving feedback) WRONG he said his team had just got done with a game and the bat head cracked in half ...UH NO the bat was in damn near perfect condition retail on the bat is 299 and he asked for a half refund ...HMMMM i know if i buy something that straight up broke after i got it id want ALL my money back ...PLUS why would he have waited to leave me feedback for a week unless his intentions were to go break the bat then ask for money and leave neg. feedback on me....
sorry for the rant just have to get shit off my chest that bothers me!

For those of you who want to succeed in business... The customer is always right.
I worked for an aluminum mfg for about 12 years that's been in business for over 100 years. They have a world class reputation of making the best product in their market and the best customer service. They took back stuff from customers that wasn't even made by them. A couple of times they took back brass!!!

Have him ship it back so you can see if it has been abused or not, and go from there. 1 negative feedback isn't the end of the world. Though i am still pissed at the fucker that sold me those cheap retainers.

Thats bullshit. How are you gonna ask for a refund when you break a used item. I doubt it's even broken, have you seen pics? Probably just blowing smoke up your skirt.

A couple of times they took back brass!!!i agree with this 100%. sometimes you have to bend yourself over a barrel for customers when you don't want to in order to come out on top. the customer feels like they have won but in the end it is YOU that wins because good gestures bring more people back.
however...
he is not a business or a corporation. he is a lone private seller on ebay who sold a used item.
caveat emptor. anything used cannot be guaranteed and if he wants to leave neg feedback, i say let him. provided the auction was written clearly, honestly and that he did not attempt to sell a known defective item, then the buyer assumes all risks associated with it's purchase.
i've purchased USED jdm h4h piaa super white bulbs from ebay for a very good price and i know even if they only lasted a day, i would not have asked the seller for money back because in the auction is said USED, AS IS.
just my $0.02

hell, he could have become upset that he was struck out or didn't sahhhwing battah battah at an easy lob and clipped one of the dugout posts in anger with it.
i say you tell him to return the item so you can inspect it for damamge and wear in order to determine what, if any, refund should or will be given.

MY friend bought a RMF header (high dollar shit, like 1700 custom made for a h22 swap in a DC2). He had the thing maybe like 2 weeks and it cracked around one of the runners. Then taking it off another one cracked? So he sent it back to RMF and they siad they "fixed it". He paid for it to be shipped back, and when he opened the box......POOF it wasn't! It hadn't even been touched! So he called them again to get this worked out, I told him they should HAVE to pay for it to be shipped back. He pays for it to be shipped back and gets it back like a few weeks to a month later and.......POOF only one runner was fixed! He called them again and asked them WTF! They said they didn't see the other crack, "He asked how did you not see it? Unless you weren't looking!" They told him if he sent it back, they would "fix it" AGAIN! So finally I found him somebody that can fix it locally and do it for cheaper than the shipping would be. Shipping was like 70 bucks each time. He wound up spending like 1900 dollars for a P.O.S header that isn't worth shit! FUCK RMF!

i listed 200-300 hits on the bat... its not like i sat there and counted every single time i hit a ball and kept track of it???? he never offered to send me pics of bat and he sent me a message saying he had it since monday i think didnt leave feedback til a week later? what he did with/to the bat within a week i dunno?

i say who cares, it was a neutral comment, didnt put a mark against you. Just remember that no matter what product you buy, as long as it is used. NO ONE can promise longevity!

Dude If you sold it as used and listed a # of hits on the bat. That is about all you can do. Who can determine the # of hits on a bat? Hell my kids completely destroyed a cheeper Omaha bat on the 1st night b/c the temperature outside was pretty cold, and I assume that makes the bat more prone to dings or the balls harder or something, and it dingged the bat almost oval shapped. This was a 150.00 bat wasted in 1 night.
I guess it just shows bats don't last forever. Anything can play apart in destruction. Hell he may have got pissed cuz he struck out and smashed it. You never know.
Its not like you sent him a picture of the bat!! LOL!!!
