I am going to try and attempt to put this z6 head that i have on my y7.......i have searched for writeups but could not find any with this specific head/block combo.........i need to know what timing belt to use?(z6 i think)........if i can use the z6 distributor?.........what injectors i should run?......and if what throttle body i should use (z6 or y7) on the z6 manifold.............thanks

Match the timing belt to the head. You're going to need to switch your computer or chip it to take advantage of vtec and since you'll prolly go with a p28 you'll need the z6 dizzy. Without the z6 dizzy you wouldn't be able to use the vtec.

Injectors don't matter they are both the same.

I'll leave it up to you on which tb to use. Try both.

the z6 head is going into my 98 hatch........can't i just use a msd rpm activated switch to engage vtec?

yeah....i know......i am thinking about reusing my head studs......i know you are not supposed to but i am broke

Atleast thats not as ghetto as using pvc for intercoler piping.
