Well, i am at the point on my build that it is going back together. Well, i ran into one problem and it seems like it never ends.
I bought some crower rods and an acl bearing kit from a user off d-series a few months agao. They were all brand new, never been used. Well, the bearing packages were still taped up like they had never been opened.......WRONG. I open the rod bearing box and there is 3 and a half rod bearings in there, so half of one bearing was not included. JUST GREAT!!!!
now i have to go and fork the money over to buy a whole new rod bearing set.
i am so pissed. my car was supposed to be running on saturday afternoon, but now, it will prolly be another week. I am so pissed, i thought i would just vent.

no, im not going to make it public because it wont solve anything. I belive that it was an accident. I pm'ed him about it in hopes to find out any information i can about it, but if have to go buy new bearings, then it is what it is, theres nothing i can do about it.
i dont believe he is a seller that you need to worry about. Everything else was as described and was in new condition. It looks like maybe he took the bearings out for a test fit and forgot to put half of one back in the package.

no worries....everyone has their own opinions. I bought them 3 months ago and the package was taped up, so i just assumed it was new and complete....its my fault for not checking.
But i dont believe taking it public for the purpose of half of a bearing is necessary. Ill just have to fork over the $100 or so dollars for an oem rod bearing kit. oh well
but thanks for you input.

I can feel again the same anger when the arp stud broke during the torque down
