Holy Shit..........
When I got back from the UK, I was actually glad to get out of the grips of the Health and Safety that they have over there..US too.
I know that companies in the UK are now forced to do this, due to more and more people sueing for stupid shit, but damn, enough is enough.
Example 1: Walking through a forest by my mums in the UK and a tree had fallen down over a pathway, now they cannot chop the tree into pieces as the forst is some national park bullshit, so the tree has to be allowed to rott on it's own. Now a small piece of the tree fell over tha path, so now they built a whole new path around this so that dumb shit people won't kill themselves and sue the parks board.
What ever happened to watching the fuck what you are doing and taking some responsability for your own actions?????
Example 2: The US car industry has started setting up shop in South Africa (dunno why as we don't have any oil), :lol: but anyway......all of the cars that we're getting from the states look like a patchwork of warning stickers of what you can do and what you're allowed to do. I counted 37 (that I could see on a chevy spark). Inside the engine lid, failure to use the proper hood latch may result in the hood not staying up and causing injury. Many warning hot signs, too many to mention. inside the car: make sure your hands are out of the way when you close the door, may result in more injury, 4-5 stickers on the foor jams, the visor one on the passenger side said something along the lines of do not use the mirror in this visor while you are driving..........on the passenger side.....we drive on the RHS, so that may be what that means.
