SOHC throttle cable question

is there a diffrence between a z6, y8, and y7 throttle cable? im asking this because ever since i installed my skunk2 intake manifold on my y7, the idle has been pretty high and i think this is due the y7 throttle cable. please correct me if im wrong. thanks

I think the y8 may be a little shorter than the y7. When I switched to from the y7 to y8 intake manifolds, my throttle cable makes a nice loop before it gets to the throttle cable bracket. Just readjust the tension on the throttle cable.
