This year Pacific Raceways and Battle Of The Imports is putting on a 5 race, points series. There will be 4 Rounds with a 5th and final being the Battle In Seattle. The series is going to have 4 classes in which you will accumulate points leading up to the Battle where it will be a double points event. For more information contact Pacific Raceways or shoot me a pm.

I guess I dont have time to finish my race motor before then. So I will just have to run the first couple events with my street motor. But I can guarranty this, it wont be slow by any means. Just called Bisi and he is working on a full raced out top end for that motor.... Under powered? Maybe. But we will see

Well the time restraints just lets me go for broke on the bomb ass head from Bisi.. The aluminum rods, and the 80mm pistons will have to wait. I also have a new carb setup on the way already too..

Got off the phone with Bisi a while ago today, He is building me a killer head and a Level "X" camshaft for my motor for the upcoming races. Not going to tell anyone the cost. But I got a KILLER deal on it. :shocked: . I will also later be able to swap the head onto my raced out "Built" bottum end when I get it done. Just a little sigh of relief for me now.

OK .... So its crunch time for me. With the new Typhoon purchase and tweaking on it, I am Super low on funds for the EF project. But I will get the car to the first race no matter what. Might be a little slow but I made a promise to alot of people. And I dont break promises... In the middle of building another D motor for future races. Hopefully before Battle.

Well The 'Shakedown" Passes told me alot. I need to spend more money.lol New set of Carbs are already ordered and should fix my fuel issues and should be running much better. No worries though. I am not dissapointed at all with my 17.4 LMAO.. Thanks to those that came out and introduced yourself.

Went to Woodburn today for Ray Day saw some sick cars however the RRev Motorsports crew was there with the red MKIV Supra ran 8.60@159mph first pass on low boost it's sick. The Ford guys were talking all kinds of crap till Tim Ballz laid the smackdown on them.

I have been racing Imports for almost 20 years. I come from a Drag Racing Background, My dad was Top Fuel Champ in '72. I have always been bad mouthed by the V8 & muscle car people the whole time. I have heard it all. Even when I would smoke them in my "Sewing Machine"/ "Vaccum Cleaner". It just makes me smile now days.

Talked to Bisi Friday afternoon. After the June 1st race I am going to trailer the car back down to California and have him dial it in on his dyno. So hopefully it should be all setup by race #3

Well I had some serious issues today at the track. But some guys on this site really came through for me and I am so grateful.... Chris (krychek) Thanks for all the help. .... The new carb setup WITHOUT tune went 14.8..... Not bad from the 17.4 2 weeks ago.. Now I have a month to get it down even lower..

Snap is right... I had the 2step set at 8500 and right when I dropped the clutch. The car went towards the wall. I tried to get back into it and chase the other car down but the one tire just spun... Oh well.. BOTI is next.. I will be ready to go you can bet on it. I am leading the points (if they are still having a points chase) So I will be there.. Everyone needs to come out that night.... Going to be a big BOTI party

Thanks remo... Got a few more tricks for Battle. Going to leave it all out on the table then. If I get get it in the mid 13's with basically a stock motor, minus the BIG cam and carbs, I will be proud of my little D15... In the of season, I am going to take it all apart and going trough it. New motor and setup... The car is still running on stock cut suspension right now.. It has alot more potential.

hey don what are your '60 ft times lookin like. im trying to do some raw calculations figuring in traction bars lsd and drag springs.

My 60fts were a consistant 2.0. But thats with the stock saggy springs and shocks.. I have a pair of Skunk2 drag launch springs for the rear. I just didnt have the time lastnight to put them on. Traction was real good too. Although a few runs before as I was turn in the pits I thought I heard the CV make that clicking noise and just shrugged it off. And in the Semi round, I really heated the tires up.. But hey , like I said. I had fun tonight and thats what it is all about.

well it doesnt seem there is much left to save, with a 2.0 said for your '60. i would be suprised to see anything more than a 1.8 , the springs and shocks could very well get you there. i cant remeber anyone hooking up better than a 1.8 on a fwd civic since i been in the scene, (trans, don,) feel free to enlighten me. =)

There was a kid tonight with a GSR motor in an ef hatch running 13.7's and pulling 1.7's 60ft.... With the right suspension & final drive combo I think its possible to down there
