I have a question about this car I am thinking about buying it is an 87 crx si but I want to put a d16z6 in the car this will just be a toy to play around with so I am just looking for a little input on this. Is the car worth doing that to or am I wasting my time the car is pretty clean just has a lot of miles on it. any input would be great.

Well I have an 85Si and I really like the 1G CRX's actually I like them all, but here is my input. If you just want a toy, my suggestion is to go with the brown top ZC as this makes the car pretty quick and is pretty much plug and play with the 87 Si, as well as bolting up to the stock locations. The D16Z6 will require alot of time to install. Mounts, wiring, axles ect.. everything is different. But let us know what you decide to do as the Z6 should be pretty sweet to see.

thanks for the input I am still deciding what to do with it or what I am going to do next my del sol is just about done so I will need to move on to a new project. I just thought that a 87 crx si with a z6 motor would be kind of a sleeper. I will keep you posted
