You just need a clip on that boot man. Use a zip tie in a pinch.

it look like you missing the ring that goes over it. you can probably buy the ring for it.

Try another cv-boot clamp or plan on a new axel sometime soon

Or even a worm drive clamp... careful getting under your car with just that scissor jack under it. I've accidentally tipped a few of my cars off those before.

For the time being i put a clamp on the boot but i dont know how much help it is.. I hear clicking noises when i come to a stop, its on its way out. Just realized that website only sells up to 95 sohc axles.. does that matter? (i dont have abs)

you need a clamp and some jack stands

I would never trust my noggin to one of those scissor type jacks... are your back wheels even chocked???

yes you would be better off getting some new cv axles you can do a good amont of damage to your tranny if you keep driving it like that

When i clamped it down it was still loose (probably because of that grease) even when i tightened it as much as possible.. Im already getting new axles and tranny from transex (AKA mista bones) so hopefully it wont die yet.. keep your fingers crossed lol
