Block Choices for my zc tranny???

Ive got a crx with a stock d16a6 in it right now but i have a zc trans with half shaft, im in the process of building a Y8 for n/a with itb's. im using d16a1 pistons in the y8 block. but my question is, will the zc halfshaft bolt up to my y8 block or am i gunna half to use my a6 block??, ive also got a spare dohc zc block but i dont think i can bolt up the y8 head to the zc block???

i would like to try to keep my a6 as a spare engine!!!!

i believe all 1.6 blocks have the holes already drilled for the halfshaft, but not all are tapped...

Not all the 96+ 1.6 block have the holes either. I've seen some Y8 and Y7 with only one hole like the 1.5z. You'll just have to look at the block before you know if you can use it.

Well i guess ill just have to wait till this y8 shows up at my shop to see if itll work!!
