yes i have an A1 it's stock in the 89 integra's, which I also own. I'm not new to engines or cars but I'm not so clear on what transmissions bolt up to this engine. I found an LSD from JDM land and I wanted to know if it would fit in my D16A1 transmission.. sorry I do not know the Tranny code for this car.

the LSD is out of a 90 EF7 CRX ZC. Anyone know if this will fit in the stock tranny that is bolted up to my D16A1 right now.

Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Scott

I'm not sure about the LSD issue - I know that there are LSD's available for that tranny (the code is CG) because Jamie Houseman of Houseman Autosport (www.racegearbox.com) uses a CG tranny in his GT4 roadrace CRX. He may be running a Quaife?

As for what transmissions fit the D16A1, any "d-series" tranny will bolt up to the block - L3, S20. However, the mounting to the early integra chassis will have to be custom fabricated.
