Yes,a fender,thank you. Not yet,its not a DIY,but it will be,i hope.
So is anybody tried to make body parts from glassfiber? I know the work process with glassfiber,but not yet tried to make so big things. So i hoped,that maybe here are some smart ones who have tried. Or maybe some link?

But I know a girl that made her own body kit for her Geo Metro. She used cardboard and fiberglassed over it. I dont remember if she just kept the cardboard on, or used some kind of apoxy to adhear to the card board, and make it so the fiberglass resin stay in form of the cardboard, but not sticking to it.

do a google search on fiberglass fabrication. You should be able to find some good info.
Unless you're going to do some mods to it, the stock, metal, fender will be as light or lighter than a home made, hand laid, fiberglass part....& wont have fitment issues.

^^ Exactly. Theres no point flaming a guy just because there are different names for things depending on where your from.... Over here, wings are on the front of the car, and spoilers are what sits on the BOOT lid..!
