hello there guys, looking for programs

alright i really dont plan to waste any time waiting to shoot out a question. i have a 90 crx with a zc swap. im not to sure what gen it is, all i know is that the engine code is zc/D16A1. i was talking with my old man about downloading differnt programs that add horse power to upload into my ecu. he claims that he has seen them for free before, and like normal i cant find a darn thing. so to make it short does anyone have any websites to suggest. if you do that would really help me out. thank you for reading my post.

are u talking about tunning ??? cause f thats the case need to go odb1 and get crome or uberdata to tune it and your ecu would hafto be socketed to acept the tune

ahh...alright dude. i was told by not only my old man but some guy at a tuning shop that you can just download programs from the internet to some sort of mass storage devise, then just plug it into the ecu and erase the old program upload the new one and drive off with the added horses. well sence that was kinda a big waste of your time i guess that i should also ask about chipping the ecu. i have seen them for cheep and been thinking about getting one. so i guess that i should ask you.oh, and before i forget, where on the ecu will i find if its odb 1 or odb 2??? oh by the way im mike

yea u can get ecus chipped do a search on here i know one guys chips them

well if ur running a zc its proably obd0 so u can proably get some one on here to chip ur ecu for ya and give u a map for intake header and exhaust

oh..and one more thing, i have a turbo comming to me what is your take on them, and do you know off the top of your head what a ZC will pop at??? and if you have any other info just let me know, im always ready to listen to poeple that are willing to help.

is it dohc zc or single i mean turbos a good way to get high horse power look in the turbo section there is alot of info in there but i would say 7-10lbs of boost on the stock block

it is most defently a dohc, i was told by one kid around my area that a dohc ZC will pop under only 4psi. he works on talons with the dsm motors so im not to sure if i should take his advise.

4psi na it will hold 6-10 he is just jealous u drive a honda lol

hahah exactly >.< and i should add that he goes through an engine every month. he destroys them for fun, or so it seems. he runs about 15psi and guns it off every line. but either way i kinda think that he is starting to fear that my car might keep up with his when i boost her. i seem to get alot of bad info from him.

yea if he is going through that many engines he cant be too smart or dosent have the concept of tunning yet
