Hey, I'm new to this site and have a question...I have a 90 crx si and am going to turbo route. My question is are there ANY good routes to go as far as management. I know the whole Zdyne and that's pretty expensive. I will go that route if I have to, but are there any other good options??? Sorry for the newbie question :)

Buy a rom burner for less then $200 and go to town!
If you can't socket your ecu yourself or find some electronics geek locally, there are several guys over at pgmfi.org that will do it by mail.
Really, the best place to start is the PGMFI FAQ (http://www.pgmfi.org/twiki/bin/view)

its not that hard; just desoder the rom thats in your ecu; solder in a socket from radioshack/digikey/etc. then you have a socketed ecu. put your stock rom back in there and run it until you can get a prom burner; some eproms and a turboedit tune

ok, so desolder rom, take it out, solder in a socket and put the Rom back in? Man, this stuff is way over my head, cuz now their talkin about eproms and rom burners...I'm reading PGMFI.org and it's helping a little.

the cheapest one. I picked up a used EPROMER5 for $60; you can get the generic ones for about that price new.
If it'll burn an eprom then it'll work. no need to spend mega bucks
