Well, a buddy of mine recently bought a 93 Si. The previous owner hydrolocked the original motor and swapped in a D15B as a replacement.
My friends and I are used to the really short gearing on the tranny's. They mostly have B16 tranny's and such. But I still have my original Si tranny for my EF, and usually these motors are at about 4000RPM, at about 80mph in 5th gear.
But my friends rpm's are at about 3500 at 80mph.
He's afraid that it doesn't have the original tranny of the car. Is there anyone on here with an EG Si tranny, that can confirm this? Or did Honda change the 5th gear a bit, for the RPM's to be a bit lower?
Thanks alot for the help guys.
